These Days is Bon Jovi's sixth studio album, and was released on June 27, 1995. "These Days" has sold over 10,000,000 copies worldwide and is Bon Jovi's 5th biggest selling album. It achieved platinum status all over the world, especially in Europe where it enjoyed the most success, due to the overwhelming response to the accompanying tour.
These Days was regarded as a much maligned album full of subtle lyrics and deeper references with respect to life today. It was an overall darker album in contrast to the band's usual brand of feel good, inspiring rock songs and love ballads. These Days only had one hit single in the US, "This Ain't a Love Song," which charted at #14. The expression "these days" is used 25 times through the entire album.
